This mosaic adorns the entrance to Palazzio, one of Santa Barbara’s most popular downtown restaurants on State Street. The photo above shows artist Dan Chrynko and his daughter next to the mosaic.


Notice the tight tile joints. This is a highly skilled task inorder to cut the tiles to fit so nice and tightly together. The artwork endures time when done with precision cuts such as these.


These two mosaic creations can be found along Mission Creek on the far bank at Rocky Nook Park, just a short walk from the Santa Barbara Mission.
This totem pole is a new approach for setting tile on an upright surface. It is located at 107 East Micheltorena St., Santa Barbara, just one block of Downtown State Street, just accoss from Alameda Park.
